Yandex Go Uzbekistan: Taxi, Intercity Rides, Delivery, and App Setup
Set up Yandex Go before you land in Uzbekistan. Use it first for airport pickup, station pickup, and city taxi rides; check intercity rides or delivery only when the app offers them for your city, address, and route.
To book, open Yandex Go from the ride widget.
When to choose Yandex Go
- Use Yandex Go for airport arrival, station pickup, and normal city rides in the main tourist cities.
- Check the
Intercity/Межгородoption for some city-to-city road trips when train timing or luggage makes a car more practical. - Use delivery for small items or a late meal when the delivery module appears for your address.
- Use metro instead when you want the fastest cross-city move in central Tashkent during the day.
- Use a hotel transfer or prebooked driver when your route goes beyond the cities with public tariff pages.
- Keep one card and some cash available, even if the app is your main transport plan.
What is Yandex Go in Uzbekistan?
Yandex Go is the app many visitors use for taxis in Uzbekistan. It can also show delivery and intercity ride options, so check the route type in the app before assuming you are booking a normal city taxi.
Start here
- Install the app and register your number.
- Set payment method before your first ride.
- At airport/station, use marked pickup points.
- Before boarding, verify plate number, car, and driver in the app.
For official Yandex Go Uzbekistan tariff planning, use the city tables as a baseline, then confirm the live fare in the app before booking.
Yandex Go availability by city
For traveler routes, public tariff cards are currently available for:
- Tashkent
- Samarkand
- Bukhara
- Khiva
If your route includes smaller towns, plan one fallback option in advance (hotel transfer desk or prebooked driver).
Intercity rides in Yandex Go
Yandex Go added a separate Межгород intercity ride format in Uzbekistan in May 2026. At rollout, it covered 23 directions from about 50 to 340 km, including routes from Tashkent toward Samarkand, Bukhara, Namangan, Andijan, Nukus, and return directions.
Use it as a road-trip option when a train is sold out, badly timed, or inconvenient with luggage. Before choosing it over rail, compare:
- total door-to-door time,
- whether you book the whole car or seats with co-passengers,
- pickup and drop-off points,
- luggage space,
- the live offer shown in the app.
App setup and payment methods
- Register before landing so you do not lose time at the curb.
- Add one primary payment method and keep one fallback (cash or a second card).
- Save hotel address in Latin script and local script if available.
- For airport pickup, confirm pickup point and plate number before boarding.
If you will also use metro in Tashkent, use the metro for the long central leg and Yandex Go for luggage, late returns, or places far from the nearest station exit.
For telecom bundles, Yandex Plus pricing, driver earnings, pickup-point franchise questions, or business courier integration, use the relevant operator or Yandex business pages directly. This guide is for visitor transport: city rides, selected intercity road trips, and occasional delivery during a trip.
Current prices on March 12, 2026: Yandex Go tariffs by city
These are upper-limit tariff card values from official city pages (verified on March 12, 2026). For many everyday in-city rides, travelers often see totals from about one US dollar to a few US dollars, depending on class and demand. The final fare is always built from several components: minimum/base charge, distance, time, and waiting or extra options.
| City | Public passenger classes on tariff page | Economy-level baseline | Comfort-level baseline |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tashkent | Start, Comfort, Comfort+, Business, Premier | Start: min 4,600 UZS; city 1,050 UZS/km + 500 UZS/min | Comfort: min 5,400 UZS; city 1,400 UZS/km + 550 UZS/min |
| Samarkand | Start, Comfort | Start: min 4,100 UZS; city 1,020 UZS/km + 450 UZS/min | Comfort: min 5,200 UZS; city 1,300 UZS/km + 560 UZS/min |
| Bukhara | Start, Comfort | Start: min 3,700 UZS; city 900 UZS/km + 270 UZS/min | Comfort: min 4,900 UZS; city 1,200 UZS/km + 300 UZS/min |
| Khiva | Start, Comfort | Start: boarding 2,500 UZS; city 1,000 UZS/km + 110 UZS/min | Comfort: boarding 3,000 UZS; city 1,200 UZS/km + 130 UZS/min |
In Khiva, treat fare logic as boarding fee plus city distance/time meter. In Tashkent, Samarkand, and Bukhara, the same cost logic is usually presented through minimum fare plus distance/time lines.
Current price range in Tashkent: economy to premium segment
If you want the full spectrum, Tashkent currently has the broadest stack.
| Class | Minimum fare | City rate (km / min) | Outside city rate (km / min) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Start | 4,600 UZS | 1,050 / 500 UZS | 2,500 / 500 UZS |
| Comfort | 5,400 UZS | 1,400 / 550 UZS | 2,800 / 550 UZS |
| Comfort+ | 8,900 UZS | 2,250 / 600 UZS | 5,200 / 600 UZS |
| Business | 10,800 UZS | 2,850 / 750 UZS | 6,300 / 750 UZS |
| Premier | 15,500 UZS | 3,900 / 1,100 UZS | 9,000 / 1,100 UZS |
For many normal in-city routes, even Comfort and higher tiers can remain in single-digit USD range, but always confirm the live estimate before booking. In Tashkent, paid waiting is also tiered by class (from 650 UZS/min in Start/Comfort to 800 UZS/min in Premier).
Service level: what changes between classes
Start: lowest entry point, fast city movement.Comfort: better baseline for airport rides with luggage and longer daytime movement.Comfort+,Business,Premier: premium segment with stricter vehicle standards and higher service expectations.BusinessandPremier(often treated by travelers as the Ultima-style segment): closest on-demand option to a personal-driver style trip without booking a dedicated chauffeur for the whole day.
In Yandex Pro standards, class access is controlled by vehicle requirements (including market value, age, and body format). Use this as the practical check for what “premium” means in each class: Yandex Pro car list and tariff standards.
Airport and station pickup flow
- Choose pickup point shown in app, not random curb pickup.
- Add terminal/landmark in destination field if language is a barrier.
- Keep one fallback payment method (card + some cash).
For full arrival logistics, use Tashkent transport guide.
Delivery and late-arrival food
In Uzbekistan, Yandex Go can show delivery options alongside taxis. Availability depends on the city, your account, and the exact address.
Use delivery only for practical trip needs:
- send or receive small items,
- order food after a late arrival if restaurant delivery is available at your address,
- use grocery or Market modules only when the hotel or apartment address is accepted,
- keep a hotel desk or nearby shop as a fallback.
Safety checklist before every ride
- Verify plate number, car model, and driver name in app.
- Prefer back seat and share route with a contact.
- If pickup or route looks wrong, cancel and rebook from a clearer point.

Is Yandex Go available only in Tashkent?
No. In this snapshot, official tariff cards are available for Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, and Khiva.

In some cities and accounts, yes. Use it when restaurant delivery appears for your address; keep a hotel desk or nearby shop as the backup.
