When to Base in Termez
Termez is the operational base for most Surkhandarya archaeology trips. It works best when each day is built around one site cluster plus a return buffer.
Best Itinerary Role
Use Termez as the overnight base, then run one controlled day at a time toward Kampirtepa and adjacent archaeology directions.
