Getting there and where to stay

Collect your race kit at Olimpiya Stadium on November 6 or 7 before your start. For a Saturday race, allow time to reach Registan after collection; Sunday runners must collect by 20:00 on Saturday. From Tashkent, the Afrosiyob high-speed train is the usual way in; Samarkand also has its own airport (flights to Samarkand).

For the marathon, arrive on November 6 or 7 and collect your kit before Sunday. Staying through the night of November 8 gives you time to rest after the race. Registan is in the centre, so from an old-city hotel you can walk to the start.
