Uzbekistan Trip Budget: 7 Days for One or Two People

Allow ≈ 15.7 million UZS (≈ 1,300 USD) travelling alone, or ≈ 20.3 million UZS (≈ 1,680 USD) for two adults sharing a room and transfers, for this seven-day Tashkent–Samarkand–Bukhara trip. That is ≈ 10.1 million UZS (≈ 840 USD) per person when travelling as a pair, before international flights.

The example runs 16–22 November 2026 and uses comfortable chain hotels, three Afrosiyob journeys and eight prebooked private transfers. It combines prices checked on 21 October 2026 with a food allowance. These are planning figures for these choices and dates; availability and the amount payable can change.

What the week costs for one or two adults

The two-person amounts cover both adults sharing a room and transfers. Food, trains, entries and mobile plans are counted for each person. The train row may change at checkout.

Which dates and purchases the budget covers

The trip follows the seven-day itinerary, with six nights across four hotel bookings:

The paid visits in this calculation are Registan, Bibi-Khanym mosque and Ark. Shah-i-Zinda, Gur-e-Amir and other extra entries need their own budget. The itinerary offers more sightseeing choices than the three tickets counted here.

Choose train departures before fixing the hotel dates. A different arrival time can change both the sightseeing and the hotel night you need. There are no international flights, extra sightseeing taxis or extra nights in this total.

Six hotel nights: rooms, breakfast and cancellation

These are one-room totals, for either one adult or two adults sharing a double room. The quoted public flexible rates include breakfast and the hotel’s stated taxes and fees; membership discounts are not used.

The two-night prices are for the whole stay, not each night. The Tashkent bookings are separate: one at the start and one at the end.

The selected offers require a valid card as a guarantee and no prepayment. Their free-cancellation deadlines are 14 November at 23:59 for the first Tashkent stay, 16 November at 23:59 for Samarkand, 18 November at 23:59 for Bukhara and 19 November at 23:59 for the final Tashkent stay. Later cancellation carries a charge under the selected offer; read that condition before confirming a room. Prices and available rooms are not held by this calculation.

Keep the quoted included taxes in the room total rather than adding them again. Compare the same occupancy, breakfast, cancellation terms and full stay amount when substituting another hotel. Arrival before check-in does not include early room access. If you land shortly after midnight and want a room immediately, arrange it with the hotel and add any extra paid night or access charge.

Three trains and eight private transfers

Afrosiyob: three journeys per passenger

These search amounts are not a final checkout bill for either option: replace the train row if the price payable differs. The listed times and prices do not guarantee a seat.

Private transfers: USD 240 per car for eight journeys

This example uses prebooked Advantour standard sedans for one to three people with two medium suitcases, rather than a taxi-app fare estimate. One suitable car is shared by the two adults in the couple calculation.

Book at least two business days ahead and prepay. The rates include taxes, fees and gratuities, with 60 minutes of airport waiting or 15 minutes for other pickups. Agree the exact station, hotel entrance, pickup time and luggage. Compare the Tashkent, Samarkand and Bukhara transfer options.

The USD 240 transfer quote converts to ≈ 2.9 million UZS (≈ 240 USD) per car, using the fixed Monday rate shown above. Split that once between two adults. Your payment or exchange rate may differ.

These eight journeys only connect airports, stations and hotels. Add sightseeing rides separately, including a trip from Mercure Tashkent South to Chorsu if you choose that outing. For a cheaper transport plan, replace the transfer total with the actual rides you intend to buy.

Food and three paid visits

Food: an allowance for twelve paid meals

Set aside ≈ 1.5 million UZS (≈ 120 USD) per person for food and drinks. It covers 12 paid meals in this example: dinner after arrival on day 1, lunch and dinner on days 2–6, and an early breakfast before the 07:30 train on day 2. The hotel breakfast included in that night’s rate may not be usable before this departure. Other breakfasts are included in the room prices, and departure on day 7 is after breakfast.

Drinks, snacks and applicable restaurant service charges come out of the same allowance. It is a spending limit you choose, rather than a measured average or a promise that every order will fit.

For scale, a single wedding-plov set in Beshqozon’s online menu costs ≈ 77,000 UZS (≈ 6.4 USD), including plov, pickles, half a loaf of bread and a 0.5-litre Coke. Allow separately for delivery or any dine-in charges. At Ayvan in Bukhara, Bolognese and a 0.5-litre bottle of water add up to ≈ 106,000 UZS (≈ 8.8 USD) before any service charge. Allow for the full bill when choosing meals, and increase the food row if your orders and charges exceed it.

Entries: three visits per foreign adult

The admission amounts were checked on 21 October 2026; tariffs may change before your visit. The published Ark tariff is dated January 2025. Bibi-Khanym is the mosque, not the separately priced mausoleum. Extra museum tickets, guides, photography charges and special sessions are outside these basic entries.

Add Shah-i-Zinda and Gur-e-Amir separately if you include them in your sightseeing. They are outside the total above.

Mobile data prices and expenses to add

The mobile row allows ≈ 60,000 UZS (≈ 5 USD) per person for one paid month of Beeline Hello 1, including 20 GB. This example assumes a compatible eSIM phone, an ordinary number and connection through an office; it does not rely on instant online activation. The selected eSIM activation and ordinary number cost zero. Two people with separate connections cost ≈ 120,000 UZS (≈ 10 USD) in total. A monthly plan used for one week still costs the full month.

Add these costs if they apply:

• International flights, visa costs and travel insurance.
• Extra hotel nights or early room access.
• City rides beyond the eight listed transfers.
• Additional admissions, tours, guides and other optional services.
• Bank fees and currency-conversion costs.

Train checkout adjustments can also change the total. They are not assumed to be zero. Choose the amount payable for your actual tickets when updating the estimate.

Recalculate the week for your bookings

Use hotel stay totals + full train prices + transfers + food + entries + mobile plans + extras. Keep hotel and car prices per room or vehicle until you have the trip total; then divide shared costs between the people using them. Food, train tickets, entries and separate mobile plans remain per person.

1. Replace all four hotel amounts with your full stay prices for the right occupancy and conditions.
2. Replace the three train amounts with the full price payable for your chosen departures.
3. Replace the transfer line with the journeys you will actually buy, converting once at your payment rate.
4. Choose your food allowance and add the visits and city rides you want.
5. Add flights and any other costs that apply to your trip.

The room prices above are already in UZS; do not convert them again. A different exchange rate changes the USD-priced transfer row, rather than every row in the table.

If you fly home from Bukhara, recalculate the final hotel stay as well as the return train and transfers. If an after-midnight arrival needs an extra hotel night, add that night rather than squeezing it into the existing six. The seven-day route explains those date choices. Finally, keep total trip cost, the amount still to pay after deposits and cash to carry separate. Prepaying a transfer reduces the remaining payment, not the cost of the trip.
